Scope of Works: Capstan were appointed by Greyline Ltd to complete the Passive Fire Protection works associated with their Disabled Adaptations framework for Greenwich Council.
The works are part of an ongoing upgrade project and these works were completed on Ann Stroud Court.
Ann Stroud Court consists of over 30 assisted living flats, management offices, and over 20 services risers. As the Greyline team worked their way through the building Capstan’s FIRAS approved Technicians (installers) followed and carried out fire-stopping works.
The materials used consisted of intumescent collars, wraps, sleeves, mastic, ablative coated batt, fire compound, and ablative spray.
Capstan also carried out BWIC with some of the penetrations, works to timber fire doors and generated a FIRAS Certificate of Conformity once the site handover was done.
